I didn't like Conquest Mode at all last year, but I'm looking forward to giving it another shot this season. Depth appears to be at the core of this year's Diamond Dynasty experience. This year, there are even more missions, special Diamond programs and stipulations that require players to use players from one division and other cool formats. That was a far cry from the nearly unplayable experience the mode delivered in the first version of the game on the PlayStation 4. Sony made significant strides with Diamond Dynasty in last year's game.
When you group it with the new Human A.I., the temperature and altitude effect on fly balls, the results could change the game. Now that I'm paying attention to that aspect of the gameplay I can't wait to see how that will impact the game. Quite honestly, I didn't even realize the flight of the ball off the "bat" wasn't realistic until it was pointed out in the gameplay enhancements trailer.
